Welcome to the Aging & Technology (AT) Policy Lab.

The AT Policy Lab is the first lab with a focus on aging, social welfare, and technology policy at KAIST since 2014. The AT Policy Lab’s research focuses on examining the mechanisms of social problems related to population aging and new technologies and providing policy analysis and recommendations on the issues. We do research and seek solutions to solve current and emerging social problems to promote evidence-based policy-making, with special interest in improving the quality of life of marginalized people such as older people, people with disabilities, ethnic minorities, and people under poverty.

저희 연구실은 카이스트 최초의 고령사회, 사회복지, 기술 정책을 연구하는 사회 실험실입니다 (2014년도에 설립). 저희는 인구고령화와 신기술의 등장으로 인한 사회문제의 메커니즘을 분석하고 이에 대한 정책 분석과 대안을 제시하는 데 주력하고 있습니다. 특히, 사회적 약자의 삶을 개선하는 데 초점을 맞추어, 현 그리고 새롭게 출현하는 사회문제에 대한 해결방안을 찾아 증거기반 정책 수립을 촉진하고자 합니다.
